Last week I installed the Tendelux 20 Watt
IR illuminator next to my camera on the garage. What a difference.
The main reason why I did this is so that the IR illuminator attracts the spiders instead of the camera. I have turned off the IR illuminator on the camera during the day and at night, but the spiders still remain on the camera. I expected the spiders to form a web for the Tendelux, but strangely enough there is no spider web there.
I may be hesitating to convert this setup so that the camera hangs under the canopy & the Tendelux hangs outside on the facade. Don't know if that is the right solution for the spider problem.
I'm curious if you have any feedback.
