The official "WTF" thread

Just a thought---- PERHAPS THIS MINDSET SHOULD BE APPLIED TO COVID DEATHS.....

FYI - the plane story is a standard one shared in good statistics classes .. so anyone who knows stats should be applying this on Covid deaths .. the question is is there a bias which prevents the publication of their analysis

How many times did you demonstrate this @TonyR

Never did, fortunately as my voltage environment stayed below 600 volts.....lethal but not as dynamic.

I did, however, on one occasion get between the secondary of a 12,000 volt neon transformer and the neon tubes which lit me up pretty good, causing such a galvanic disturbance to the muscles in my left arm I could not move it for few minutes.....pretty scary.

The shocks from 120 and 240 though occured all too frequently, maybe 1 a month or so, I'd guess. Over 31 years that's quite a few and too many. IMO.

Back about 1990, my Irish Shepherd had to be put down. I couldn't bear to be there for it so I released her to the vet and picked up ashes a couple of weeks later. Vet said the cremation occurred in NYC. I lived upstate back then. It wasn't that much later that the news reported that vets in NY were selling pets for experimentation instead of euthanizing them. I think my vet was legit but I was distraught thinking my dog might have been a victim of these bastards. Ever since I have been there for my dogs final breath. I also try to bury the body.
It was probably early 2000s that grave robbers in NYC were selling bodies. IIRC they stole the body of an NPR personality that had just passed.
