I got to hear and smell similar flight deck ops for 2 years as a member of the Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club aboard the U.S.S Hancock CVA-19 for 2 tours '70-72. The aircraft were F-8J's, A-4E's, EKA-3B's, E-1B's and UH-2C's.
Matter of fact, she was the first carrier to have steam catapults (1954?) and the first to launch an aircraft with a steam catapult.

A few decades ago going to see our daughter at Fort Gordon (now Fort Eisenhower), we went to see the USS Yorktown in Charleston. All I can say is WoW
I'm hoping Trump changes the names back to all the forts, camps and bases that Biden changed, like Ft. Rucker, Ft. Benning, Fort Gordon and MANY more....
Just beacuse the nmaes were affiliated with Confederate leaders doesn't mean they were not honorable or deserving and part of history....just my opinion.
