    Choice of IP cameras

Note as you have synology Nas.. remember they charge per camera after 2 iirc .. so for most of us other options become more cost effective once you consider the capabilities vs price

In general the Reolink Doorbell gets good reviews from members here compared to the alternatives .. unfortunately, this probably says a lot more about the options available .. For me, I have yet to find a Doorbell I really like ..

Reolink alternatives that get close to the price?

Hi @Leith1812 Reolink do have a large fan base, and given how affordable they are, I can appreciate it. However, the real question those fans fail to often address is "fit for purpose" and cost of installation / tco .. once you factor that in as well as other comparative measures - then you...

New member in need of direction.

Welcome @Tncatadjuster 1st determine what you wish to accomplish before you buy a complete set. I wasted a lot of time and money buying cameras which were "deals" recommended at another site that failed to do what I needed. Thus, I highly recommend getting : 1) ONE good 4MP 1/1.8" varifocal...

    Outdoor cheapish camera recommendations please?

Yes .. and it is good to see Reolink produce more variations of models for customers .. OP also noted: Almost no light, 180 deg So the Reolink CX410 does not fit the FOV .. basically OP has a bit of thinking to do balancing requirements he has with what is available for the budget he has...

    Outdoor cheapish camera recommendations please?

The Reolink CX410 with a 4MP 1/1.8" does better than the Reolink 8MP cameras .. still it's not as good as most of the Hikvision or Dahua OEM 4MP 1/1.8" sensor models members have reviewed ..

    PC/NVR for multiple cameras?

Hi @TechieNI Reolink and Wyze cameras .. if you can get both to produce an RTSP stream, then I would look for a 3rd party VMS on an PC solution .. note, not all Reolink cameras are able to produce a proper RTSP stream for 3rd party VMS solutions .. so double check the Reolink camera models...
