    Reolink 830a

Thanks for the reply. The reasons that I was choosing reolink was availability in NZ, and the competing brand that I had seen available here ( Hikvision ), I had seen fail. So what would you recommend, given that I would need to then import from Alixpress, so it's got to be another Chinese brand?

Anything from Reolink, except their new door bell cam, should be avoided, if you expect it to be reliable.

I hope you have better luck with it than I did. The lack of WDR rendered the camera useless to me when trying to identify someone approaching the door.

New Amcrest AD410 doorbell Cam Review

I will be replacing this Amcrest AD410 with Reolink 5MP. So far all the reviews I've seen on Youtube are pretty good. I shall see. It's supposed to get here tomorrow.

This is my second AD410, so I figured after reading all the reviews of the ReoLink 5MP Doorbell Camera, I would give that a try.....After 48 hours of having it installed, it's being returned to Amazon. Reolink 830a

I'm looking at purchasing a couple of Reolink 830a for their PT"z" capability, and want to ask some questions of anyone who's worked with them; If the camera is facing the road, 20m away, will it be triggered by every car going past (50kmh zone)? Are the floodlights configurable so that they...

Reolink Duo 2 cameras lose user accounts frequently

I have 2 Reolink Duo 2 cameras that we have been using for nearly 2 years. While that are not great at night time motion capture, they have otherwise worked decent for us and the super wide FOV is just what we need. Over the past 6 months or so, that have started losing their user accounts...

Does this mean my Ezviz DB1 is toast?

Personally if access isn’t an issue I would probably go with what a lot of IPC members are doing. Which is installing that Reolink POE doorbell which seems to have good reviews. No more worries about WiFi and streaming video issues.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

...So after thinking more about this, when power came back On those two times, my pfSense router was probably not fully up yet so the ReoLink Doorbell had nothing to connect to, well my AP that is was not yet talking to the pfSense router. New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I just purchased the Reolink doorbell, with the hopes of having it trigger my mechanical doorbell. The 433MHz receiver that I got from AliExpress isn't working. I'm guessing, for the same reasons as have been stated here, given that my Chime has "v2" on it. (Frustratingly, I even...

    Suggestion for 2 new cam

Hi all, I need to replace 2 reolink cameras. I have to replace an 810a and an 822a. Both must be 4k and must integrate AI for people detection. The one that replaces the 822 must also be equipped with a good zoom or a fixed lens with many mm (the reolink has a 5x and I don't know what the...

Blue Iris Long Delay with CodeProject Object Detection

SOLVED: Though there were a few moving parts to my issue, the main one that applies to this thread is that my two Reolink RLC-811A camera's sub-stream timeclock would drift over time, to the point where Blue Iris would receive that stream 10+ seconds after the event, thus leading to a...

    Alternative to blue iris

As noted, you can have AI built into your cameras, NVR, or use third party AI software to add this functionality to BI and other systems. If you want to use the AI built into the camera, you need to use ONVIF triggers. The camera will send out an ONVIF trigger when it's AI senses the correct...

ReoLink POE Switch - Any IP Cam User Reviews?

Appreciate the information. Yes, the ReoLink is 10/100 on the 8 POE ports but 10/100/1000 on the 2 uplink ports. Comparing the NetGear to the ReoLink is almost like apples and pears. For my use, 10/100 is all that is needed for each POE port. The Dahua cameras usually use about 10 megs each...

ReoLink POE Switch - Any IP Cam User Reviews?

Noticed that the 8 port ReoLink 120 watt POE switch runs about $63. The equivalent 8 port NetGear POE switch is $110. Most here indicate that overall ReoLink products are not a consideration for purchase except for the video doorbell. In reviewing IP Cam comments, there are a few no buy...
