Thanks all the help. Eventually got it show up in the NVR. However, I can not zoom in to my preferred position. it is motorized varifocal so should be able to adjust it remotely. Can anyone guide how to do it within Lorex NVR?

How many other cameras do you have and what is power capacity of the NVR and how much are you using? Maybe you are at capacity. Lorex made a few proprietary systems and that could be it as well. Do you have a 12v power plug that you could try as a stand alone and see if the camera works?

Maybe your neighbor will learn. Unless it is one of the oddball proprietary Lorex units, Andy's cams pull right into Lorex.

It didn't scale quite linearly - I could record about 3 - 3.5 days of 8 channels of 4K with the included 2TB drive. Now with the 16TB, I can record about 20 days. It did report all 16TB of space. The commenting - I am wondering if they may be similar thought as the endless reviews that show up...

I have been using the 16tb I mentioned in this post now for years without any issue, the only caveat being that I had to format it using a monitor and mouse directly connected to the NVR. I haven't tried any other drives, but I am considering upgrading the drive to a 24TB one.
