Need solar powered coverage for construction site

Do you need low light performance ? If so expect to spend more and get a better camera than reolink

Need solar powered coverage for construction site

Had a similar situation and used the Reolink Argus PT 5MP with cellular. Was an okay experience, not great. Was able to catch one thief with it. The camera itself had a good picture and everything, and the PTZ is a big bonus, but the solar panel that came with it died after a couple of months...

...situations with so many factors not known. Almost every camera will say 0 LUX with infrared or white LED on, and we all know how poorly Reolinks perform at night in low light yet that is their spec....or even two different good cameras. Take for example the 5442 4MP2.8mm fixed lens camera...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I've been using 2 Reolink doorbells for over a year now, streaming to Blue Iris and not one single problem. Admittedly I don't use the Reolink app so I cannot say one way or the other regarding the ads. Also only used 2 dozen Ubiquiti's NS and NS Loco radios with AirMax but from what I've seen...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

How the heck do you have ads if the device can’t even access the internet? Sounds like maybe you’re talking about using the Reolink app but none of us using this doorbell (POE or wifi) in Blue Iris are going to be running that at all. I too love Unify stuff for my network but their security...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

So have you had Reolink do this to you or you just reading old internet threads? My family and I have multiple Reolink doorbell cams w/ no issues nor have we seen ads. I gave them a call earlier after I saw this post to verify I stay away from their other cams, but then again I'm not a keyboard...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Stay away from Reolink. They are clowns. Unify has the same product line and is from a much more trusted company that doesn't insult their customers by putting ads in their face and then banning them when they complain.

Feedback on camera location for a house.

Looks good the layout for cameras .. I would want to also get coverage on that side door entrance. Remember to test positions you are considering before drilling any holes.

Feedback on camera location for a house.

...that post on previous post with similar question as mine. I decided that for the main door I would get the EmpireTech IPC Color 4k paired with probably the Reolink doorbell cam. My only issue with some of your recommendation is that I would prefer if it was turret cameras instead of bullet ones.

However, after extensive research, I decided to go with Dahua or Hikvision cameras instead, as they offer better performance...

Need solar powered coverage for construction site

The PTZ is not available in the US and it's also over the clients budget. With that said, that's why I was also considering the Reolink with a wider field of view. The need is to refer to the SD card if something happened on the construction site, such as theft (at night). He is not planning...

Night/IR Wildlife Camera setup help for small farm

...they are concerned about....but they are because if the camera doesn't see the moose, the camera is useless as you will see below.... Latest Reolink firmware breaks https access?

I had the same problem with my ReoLink WiFi Doorbell. Latest Reolink firmware breaks https access?

Just updated one of my Reolink Duo 2 PoE cams to the latest firmware (v3.0.0.3471_2406115691) and, following recommended practices, I factory reset it. Well, it broke the web interface and interfacing with Blue Iris. I check the release notes and I guess I was too naive to belive the "The...

Doorbell camera with phone app and no subscription?

Thanks for all the suggestions.. I might be going with a Reolink. I ran cat6 for 5 security cameras while the house was under construction but didn't wire cat6 to the doorbell so I like that Reolink has a wifi option.

I did some reading here... noticed you guys are not fond of ReoLink and Nest, regardless of their popularity. Perhaps I need a Dahua 5442 in 6mm to be able to better identify what is at the end of our driveway, coming and going. Then it appears Blue Iris might be pretty good software and give...
