BI has an option to bind to a specific network interface on your server in the webserver settings. If this is enabled (usually for security), BI won't listen on localhost anymore - you have to use your BI IP instead. -

Blue Iris + Plex: Bad Idea?
Yeah, that's the paradox. BI is optmized for Quicksync while Deepstack plays nicer with nvidia. You can still go all software for deepstack though, so no worries. Substreams will automatically lower your CPU usage as long as you have them setup in BI. It used to be BI used the full frame high...- silencery

Yes, what @flynreelow posted above should work. For me, I just used the generic profile in the latest version of BI and it pulled both primary and substreams automatically (but I filled in the password field). -

I don't use HA, but you can try ONVIF to get the motion event out. I think there is also an MQTT to ONVIF bridge somewhere. You could try using dewarp filters in ffmpeg, but I suspect it would be too slow for facial recognition on a door lock. Otherwise you might want to mask out the capture to...
