    I went IP and POE and I'm glad I did. It cost me a little more that I initially thought because I needed to get a POE switch but now I think it was worth it. Luckily, I found this forum and was able to use the WIKI to get a suitable PC and optimized Blue Iris.

    So you are using sub-streams? I had it set with one camera but there are too many issues right now, so I turned it back off, so it may just be a bug when using sub-streams.

    Isn't that what the little orange line at the very bottom shows you, otherwise I believe that multiple alert lines and lightning bolts would be too close together and would look messy.

    When using a time server in the Amcrest setup (and I set it up and my POE switch) all seem to end up off by an hour like it's not figuring DST correctly. Very weird.

    I removed streams on the one camera I had it enabled on as well. That was the only camera that had the issue, plus it had issues with alerts as well, guess it is still a work in progress!

    I did a repair and now there are gaps in that cameras recordings, but the 49day clips are gone :(!!

    I have now noticed this happening as well. I have 1 of my 4 cameras set to use the sub-stream and that seems to be the only one showing 49days, the other 3 using the main stream seem fine. Blue Iris v5.2.9.0

    I recently switched to using the Camera's Date/Time overlay and I have noticed several times that the time is behind two hours. As soon as I log into the camera's web configuration interface the overlay just to the correct value in Blue Iris. Not sure if this is a camera issue or a Blue Iris...

    Amcrest IP8M-2496 setup question. I noticed under System, Auto Maintain there is an "Auto Reboot" that is checked for Monday at 04:55, this appears to be a default as I don't remember setting it. Is it a good idea to reboot the cameras once a week?

    Latest version crashes

    It is hard to turn it back off, but what I was able to do was double click in the timeline to bring up a clip/alert and for some reason it didn't crash and I was able to uncheck the "test run..." option. Since I did that I haven't had a crash.

    @IAmATeaf Is "Test run video through motion detector" checked? That seems to be the only time I get crashing when viewing clips or alerts.

    I made that change on one camera and then did a trigger now. This time I got 3 pictures instead of 4 and now the 1st image is smaller! 1st - 853 x 480 2nd - 1536 x 864 3rd - 1536 x 864
