Yeah, the only way I was able to get snapshot for my doorbell was a workaround that I used to get my RCA HSDB2 to live feed to my Alexa Show 8 units which was to use MotionEye. In Motioneye, it generated a snaphot url for me to use in my Home Automation Dashboard. -

I believe that is not going to work as the newer firmware is what enables the outdoor bell sound which would be removed once you re-flashed down to a lower revision ONVIF capable firmware. If the latest Ezviz FW 191211 has ONVIF, then it'll be possible to have both features but I don't think... -

Don't buy the RCA variant if you want to receive newer firmware and good support. I have an RCA HSDB2A which is supposed to be identical to the Ezviz DB1 and LaView ONE Halo but can't get Alexa nor Google assistant to recognize it as a capable device. -
