I had to switch it first on and then off again in the ezviz app
Sorry for all the questions but which version of the EZVIZ App you running? I have not found the Ringtone option in version 4.0.4.1217

No problem. I had the 4.04 version installed for I guess two weeks and the option did NOT appear in the settings until I updated the DB1 to the new FW

Well hopefully LaView or Nelly's will add the option in an updated FW or EZVIZ will add ONVIF support in theirs :)

Received the Ezviz DB1 last week and am testing it. It updated a few times and is now on 5.2.4 build 191211.
I'm not certain but there is now a switch "Answer doorbell call" and "Outdoor bell sound".

If that's the case will 2 way audio work?

Maybe with the hik connect app?
I only know for sure the gDMSS app works for listening to audio from the doorbell as I never attempted 2 way and I believe it might be the same for tinycam but never tried 2 way audio there either. I primarily use the Hik-Connect app for answering my doorbell video notifications as it notifies quickly on my phone and it's worked the best for my setup.

The "outdoor bell sound" toggle switch is the key as that is what is missing in the prior FW build to manipulate the ring tone.

Not yet :( I ordered the bell wire, transformer is due to be delivered tomorrow and the chime and basic doorbell button is due to be delivered the following day so i can test everything out prior to the 'real deal' arriving.
I know this is a bit cheesy, I am not great using Windows Paint program :), but I edited a diagram and added our Hikvision DB :), just need to add Power Kit (at Chime) to complete the diagram. I am sure you have a wiring plan already but I figured I would share. Depending on how your setup is, what is common is one cable (2 wires) is ran from Doorbell Button to Transformer (Usually in Attic/Basement), then one cable (2 wires) are ran from Chime to Transformer. When done you will have a complete loop wired.

Can someone get the original file date for me/us? I tried wget but I am not familiar enough with this to get HTTP Header info.

I want to see if this is the latest EZVIZ 191211 firmware and Identify it's last modified date. Prior version 190708

@JSnP was able to get file dates: New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera
Header

JSnP is who first got us our firmware links...
When I downloaded the FW file this morning, I got following so assume it must be the newer 191211 FW as it's larger in size.

3.97 MB (4,167,344 bytes) Probably 191211 ?
3.96 MB (4,155,170 bytes) Firmware 190708 from Q4 2019

Yeah looks like a new one. The old version was from: (Jul 21, 2019) Build 190708 (NO ONVIF Support)
I am saving these firmwares in case anyone, including me, would like to go back...Since they all have the same filename, looking for a date difference...

Thank You.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's their new FW file as last modified date is early morning.
