    I put the new firmware on a couple days ago and haven't noticed anything different. No problems with the iris from light to dark, and auto-focus seems the same.

    I use (and like) Tiny Cam Pro. There's a free version you can try. Others use gDMSS. Likewise a free version (lite). Try em both and see which one you like.

    I'd try to file the corrosion off those pins. Maybe a nail file. And some contact cleaner if you have any. Since it works with 12 volt, might just be bad or no electrical connection on those pins.

    If you do, maybe hold the button in longer. They say 10 seconds, but I had one that wouldn't reset till I held it in for about 30 seconds. If it won't reset you're probably out of luck.

    Have you tried resetting it ? Take it apart and hold in the reset button while applying power for about 15 seconds.

    I added a separate user account on the nvr called tiny cam and used that to log in with the tablet. Don't know if that made a difference or not, but it doesn't ask for password whenever I open it up. I used Dahua brand and 3200C. I have 5 different Dahua model cams and that worked for all of them.

    Did you change the channel numbers in Tiny cam? Nvr cam 1=channel 1,nvr cam 2=channel 2 etc.
