You mean inside, aren't you? You could do the connection within the mount. It's not that much space but it fits.

You don't need a large drill. Just get with your cat. Cable through the wall into the bracket. Get a rj45 crimped on the cable (don't forget the plastic stuff delivered with your cam), plug the jack in the socket and close the waterproof plastic cap. Then mount the bracket to the plate on the wall.

But for that i need the mount i think, the cam itself had not enough space i think for the pigtail and Cat5 cable with connector

Right, for this you need a bracket. Your question was if you could make the connection fit into the bracket and the answer is yes

do you have to drill a hole through the wall to go into this mount or can you go from the sides. My cable will be running from the roof down the wall to the mount and therefore i want to enter into the mount from the top/bottom or sides?

is this possible?

yes maybe a 10mm hole somewhere near the bottom and fish it through? The cavity at the top is large enough for the pigtail. The brackets are very nice. I will be painting one a similar colour to the wall, so it's less obvious.

Yep, there are two holes for cable insertion. One at the bottom and one to the side. The bracket comes with two cable fittings for the holes.

Thank you everyone!!! that's great help. Can order my brackets and my hdw5321r-ze camera now. Super excited to get it all setup and running. Just deciding on NVR vs blue iris now and i'll be done!

Great mount, highly recommend it.
