Yes, it occurs with a small patch cable connected to another Cisco PoE switch that I used during setup of my cameras. The new (same model) camera on the same cable and switch is fine. -

Got mine today from Andy. It was the PAL 2.8mm model and it had an older firmware from the middle of last year. I immediately upgraded the firmware to the NTSC firmware (on Dahua's website) without any issues. It uses the same firmware as the Starlight turret model (5231) -

How are you manually changing the time? Are you just moving the scissor area by an hour on the timeline from what you really want or is there some other way to specify the time to export without the scissor tool? I'd be okay with being able to export manually without the scissor tool to... -

So further testing shows that any of my recordings prior to switching to DST are okay... as soon as try to export anything recorded after 3/12/2017, the scissor is 1 hour ahead of the timeline. -

While trying to export video on the newest MacOS SmartPSS 2.0, I found that it was exporting video from +1hour of what I was asking. My settings are all good... times on DVR and cameras all match up. See demo in my video below: -

No, I have used Hikvisons before so I know what you meant, but that's not something Dahua supports and it's not doing adaptive like behavior, it's always black and in black and white video at night it's very difficult to see -

I received 3 of these from Andy last week. I upgraded them all to the latest firmware and they seem to be operating normally, however one of them has an issue where the overlay text keeps switching to black instead of white. Rebooting the camera doesn't fix it... I've managed to get it back... -

how do you set up IVS on a Starlight IPC-HDW5231R-Z?
I uninstalled the plugin and restarted Safari and loaded up one of my older cameras url and it asked to install the plugin. I did that and then went back to the starlight's page and live preview worked again. I'm pretty sure IVS was still enabled but I'll need to experiment more tomorrow.
