As far as I can tell, nothing changes all that much. They limit storage, and they limit the number of "hits". Right now you re getting unlimited "hits". Every time data is sent to the API that's a "hit". If you let agent do the work of sending to API you are getting charged for 2-6 "hits". Some... -

That's kind of amazing. That 53 degree angle would blow it for me. Nice shot! I can get 200 feet at about 25-30 degree angle with a 55mm camera, but not at that angle. Are you using the commercial OpenALPr version? -

Well I didn't do the KPH vs MPH conversion correctly. MPH x 1.6 = KPH. You will have no luck getting attention for anything under 35mph (56kph) in the US. In CA they can't arrest anyone under 35mph on any "non compliant road". I guess they have to certify speed limits on each road. -

LPR Night Time Settings
I'm heavy on the HLC -> 70 Tune focus in the day, and then set to manual. Everything else is the same as above or fairly close. Thats for night mode. I think we all switch between day/night mode. Some use the Surise/Sunset program. Others use schedule. I use web commamds via Python code. Good Luck -

I can confirm the night time focus loss is due the Dahua camera being in "auto-focus" instead of manual. The auto focus positions are inaccurate at night. I can tune much better manually. The servo positioning sucks too. Still a great camera. Does the Bosch have a 10-60mm lens for zooming? -
