Motion everywhere... :(
I use Synology nas as a NFS server and have cameras record to a NFS shared folder. Then I use SmartPSS to view recordings. I works okayish, the image is jerky, not smooth like when you watch it in live stream. Sometimes it drops and misses frames -

Can you elaborate a bit? Does it give you possibility to tag your recordings so you can easily filter them out and e.g. only see recordings triggered from specific rule? I don't see such an option in IVS settings -

Is there a way to set up multiple triggers with separate "tags" or something and then filter out by tags when searching through recording. Example scenario: I have less significant area and more significant area to watch after, so I'd like to be able to record both but then review only events... -

OK I added trusted sites, but it does not answer my question where is that file now? I now clicked the button, it turns red, then I click again (to stop recording) Where is the recorded files? It is not on my NAS where the camera is set up to record on Event type (Scheduled, Motion Detection... -

Did anyone use this button at all? How do you otherwise force start a recording? E.g you watched live stream and noticed something that is not triggering the alarm recording but you still want to record that. -

both, and I believe default settings only use Day for some reason. I tried to understand how Day/Night/Normal settings work and how to normally set it up considering day and night start at different time in a depending on day of the year. Is there a good explanation of how these setting work? -

Dahua and choppy video?
I don't have NVR. Cameras record ivs-detected .dav files on NAS What I also noticed is if you export a recording using smart pss it becomes smooth but loses a few seconds in the beginning. See examples here Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+ -

Also noticed that if I export a video to MP4 using SmartPSS it plays smoothly. But exported video is a few seconds less the original and some footage is lost. Compare the two: Notice the difference between how cars are moving Original .dav file: Exported .MP4 from Smart PSS some footage in... -

Edge is the same as chrome Internet explorer does not work (asks to install a plugin which I dont want to install) but it shows extra buttons which are not displayed in chrome! I circled controls which are not shown in other browsers. I wonder why -

Recordings. I view it using MPC-HC player, and also in Smart PSS on my computer (which is fast) I now compared again and see IPC-HFW1831E is also not completely smooth. Still better than 5442 though. I can upload samples somewhere if you want to compare
