Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I think you are using Nelly’s firmware since it is 180726. I use Uniden’s app and Hik-Connect without issues. They all go through the same server. That firmware is the latest AFAIK. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A capacitor filters DC and lets AC (spikes) through. An inductor filters out spikes and lets DC pass. However, I don’t know how big an inductor would be needed to solve your issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds like my non-NVR issue. I kept getting “no files found” when trying to play recorded alarms. I had to reseat the SD card to solve the issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I changed my motion detection area in Hik-Vision and saved it. Closed app and reopened and new setting was still there. Opened Uniden One app and new setting was reflected there as well. I fixed my motion detection problem. Somehow, it got turned off via the web GUI. Turned it on and all is...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I’m still on iOS 12.4. Since I updated to latest Hik-Connect app 3.12, I don’t get any motion detection alarm notifications on Hik-Connect or Uniden One 1.3.1.190213. I get visitor notifications with button presses. Anyone else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you tried to disconnect from Blue Iris, reboot and see if the intercom works after a button push? I don’t have BI, but there might be some kind of interference Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I would say yes to the doorbell in parallel since your total amp draw without a chime would be ~700mA without a button push. You need a resistive load in series with the doorbell though if you are not using a chime. Essentially, the doorbell becomes a dead short when the button is pushed. This...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Sounds like a hardware problem. If you want the IR, contact Uniden. I started the process an received instructions for a RMA. I think they’ll replace it for you. You might want to do a complete power down and restart just to be sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think there is a way to issue a reboot command from the Web GUI. You could try that to see if your IR comes back on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Most people on this forum wished there was a way to turn it off and keep it off. Some disassemble it and remove the wires to the ir light. Too much internal reflection. Yours isn’t acting correctly if it hasn’t come on after 15 minutes. Maybe it will come back on tomorrow night [emoji3166]...

Try logging into the camera’s IP from a desktop on your LAN. There are some brightness and contrast settings in there I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think you should be able to log into the Hik-connect app with the same credentials as the uniden. They use the same servers. I don’t know about your parameter errors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Whoa, sounds like it’s not a power related issue. However, when the power goes out in my neighborhood, my doorbell rings once. Can you monitor the DB voltage while turning on the microwave? Maybe your microwave is talking smack to the DB over the 2.4MHz WiFi. [emoji848] Definitely a strange...

The code in Michigan is the installed microwave must be on a dedicated circuit. If your DB transformer and microwave are on the same circuit, the voltage drop caused by the high current drain microwave could be upsetting your DB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anyone know the advantages/disadvantages between the Uniden 171225 firmware (I’m in now via Uniden app upgrade applet) and the Nelly’s 180726? Any improvement in the motion detection zone settings etc? Is it worth the risk updating? I don’t have NVR or Blue iris (yet). Sent from my...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Resistors come in different wattage rating. Most small resistors you get at hobby shops are 1/4 watt. They burn out or “blow” if you put too much power (VA) through them. Some Power Resistors for audio equipment are 10 watt. So, to us a resistor as a fuse, the power rating is critical...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

The circuit needs a load to drop camera voltage and current into the correct range (V=IR). Kind of like a an LED needs a resistor in series to reduce the voltage across the LED and keep from burning it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

The LEDs require VERY little current to light up. That’s the problem. The current running thru the circuit due to the doorbell consumption (as opposed to an open doorbell switch =zero current) is enough to light an LED. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Your chime is chattering since it is series with your doorbell that is passing current. A normal doorbell push button switch is an open circuit (no current) until you push the button then a dead short when pushed. A larger VA will not effect the chatter. Did you try to put a resistor in parallel...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Yes, it needs AC. Chances are you will have to upgrade your doorbell transformer to something more powerful than the standard 10VA. That is the consensus in the forums. Do yourself a favor and test with a transformer with at least 20VA. I bought a 30VA and my system is working fine. Also, your...
