Using a kilowatt plug in meter, which the 4 way adaptor goes in to. From this I have the PC, switch and monitor in. Unplugging the monitor for readings
i have 1 HD, a samsung SSD 1tb. The power supply is a new 80+ gold, 16gb RAM, win10 pro. CPU usage is 17% (92w in power) on motion and 44% with all recording and 133w in power. Monitor unplugged for both readings.
I only have intel onboard graphics. Ive test it again. 1tb ssd, Netgear POE switch and i7 4790k unit. I plugged the monitor in the same socket last time by accident, without that in its measuring 92w. That still seems very high.
on the app how do I add a server - it says Add Server with ID - where do I get this ID from?

Also does this work ok as my pc/adsl connection is DHCP not static.
After coming from a Hikvision 7604 which used around 30w, ive decided to change to BI and use my i7 4790k and a POE switch. I have 4 Hikvision 4mp cameras and the whole lot is drawing around 110w.
What options are there for low power off the shelf units?
I have 5 cameras, can I use the free milestone and the android app or would I have to pay for this?
I tried to install Milestone on my win 10 machine earlier and I had an IIS error. Is it quite straightforward?
I have the above with blueiris. Can I set this to autotrack and if so how, in BI or logging in to the device itself and will BI use those settings and autotrack?
