Recent Dahua 4K cams don't have POE???
It's right there on the manufacturers page: https://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/All-Products/HDCVI-Cameras/Pro-Series/4K/Starlight/HAC-HFW2802T-A-I8 Says 12 volt power adapter and nothing about POE. The users manual doesn't have POE in it even once. -

I ordered a HAC-HFW2802T-A-I8 and got something entirely different that looks similar but ended up being a iMaxCamPro HCC3181T-IR with a 1/2.7" sensor vs the 1/1.9 that the Dahua comes with. The camera looks similar and has similar specs until you dig deeper. Anyways, it was then while digging... -

Reolink high F stop and flying bugs....

That doesn't work for me. When I add that string to the "custom models" text box, I get "nothing found" for each analyzed image. Also, the normal CPU usage of 5 to 7% for the entire machine is now sitting at 30% between python continually running and Windows Image Acquisition which is account... -

So are you saying every camera AI instance uses all custom models unless you specify which one you want and then it only uses what you specify for each camera? -

That's the point. I haven't mentioned ANY models in the AI setup of any camera. Simply turning on the "Use custom model folder" in the global settings and adding dark.pt to that folder results in DS going from 200 ms to 5000 ms for image processing. -

So if I have a custom model in MyModels and don't list that model in the "Cutom models" box of a camera, the model is still used any ways? That doesn't make sense. -

Where are DS images stored?
That's right. Even if you aren't actually using a custom model for any of the cameras, the CPU spikes huge for DS even if no cameras have the dark model selected. Send Ken an email. -

I'm seeing similar results. Simply adding the dark.pt file to MyModels results in non dark processing jumping from about 200ms to 3000ms+ even when I don't add dark to the camera AI custom models section. -

Any way to filter alerts based on PTZ preset?
I didn't see a parameter for zone that the motion ended up in which is why I said "B" parameter. i.e. a cloned alert for each zone where you pass in a hard coded string as a parameter to identify the zone...along with the preset variable. -

It's an RLC-410 with the older IPC_3816M hardware. I have an RLC-423 PTZ as well with the same chipset but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues. The other 3 all have newer chipsets. There's something about this one 410 that is causing BI to blow up on 5.5.1.9. Everything is fine on 1.7. -

Rolling back to 5.5.1.7 will fix it. 14 of my cameras are Reolinks and 5.5.1.9 results in the 5 Reolinks all getting no signal and the BI UI freezing over and over again. Those 5 camera failures appear to be tied to one specific Reolink camera that when disabled the other 4 work fine with... -

I figured it out. The AI tab can be filtered on zones. Zones can be overriden for each preset in the PTZ tab. An example. First configure the preset that you want the camera to return to after some amount of inactivtiy. In my case it's preset button 6 mapped to the camera's preset 50. This is... -

It's Blue Iris. So often there's a solution that just doesn't seem obvious because it's hidden somewhere else. Perhaps if can be done it's part of the PTZ tab preset override and detection zones? I never said that. I AM using deepstack for that camera but I only care about alerts for people when the camera is on a specific PTZ setpoint. -

I still want all alerts shown in time timeline when facing out which is why I unchecked the "hide canceled alerts from timeline". I only want notification actions to be triggered for people when the camera is facing inward towards the breezeway. -

How to always trigger recording on motion but only get notified when DS detects objects?
So this works fine for the desktop app but the mobile app only shows confirmed alerts in the cameras view. The only way to see the canceled alerts is going to the alerts but those are organized by time when I just need to see all the last alert for each camera.
