    Storage configuration

Yeah, I have two 2TB WD Purple HDDs. One is for recording and the other is for storing clips. The WD Blue serves no purpose and will be removed once my new 4U chassis arrives. I have a 250Gig SSD for Windows 10 and Blue Iris only. That's all I have on the machine.

    What Do They Mean

I will post my settings later after work. And thanks for your help.

    What Do They Mean

I may have confused that with something else. Sorry about that. And if I seem a little verbose, it's because I'm trying to pack in a lot of info. Also, responding on a phone is sometimes challenging to me. A pc screen is much better. Thanks

    What Do They Mean

Here's a screenshot of a post I made in another forum. TonyR suggested that this forum is the best place to get answers. As a noob I didn't realize I had problems until he pointed them out, and I didn't know about this forum. Anyway, check out the pic and tell me what you think. Thanks for your...

Are these the green bars your talking about?

    What Do They Mean

I agree with you on where this should have been posted. In my defense, I didn't know about that forum. Can I move it there? Also, I have two 2TB WD Purple drives. One for recording, the other for stored images. Everything deletes after 30 days. I have four cams recording continually in 1hr...

    What Do They Mean

Can anyone tell me what the numbers/symbols in yellow at the bottom of my timeline mean? Also, does the other number suggest the amount of RAM being used?

Can BNC cables be converted, somehow, to connect to POE cameras

I thing it'd be easier to make your own cables and use a POE splitter if necessary.

New Guy Here and Thanks for Having Me

I built it and worked on it at least a dozen times. I was having problems with long HDMI runs. As a matter of fact I burned one port on my HDMI board because of that. I tried amplified cables and HDMI over Ethernet. None worked. I finally bought and optical HDMI cable that worked perfect. As far...

Anyone used a USB 3.0 connected external Drive for Video storage?

I read that you ran out of USB ports. You can buy USB expansion from Amazon. I use one on my SIM racing set up and I also use one on my gaming rig without issue.

Anyone used a USB 3.0 connected external Drive for Video storage?

I haven't used one on my BI server because I have plenty on it, but I use one on my gaming/Plex pc. As a matter of fact, I've filled up two WD Red HDDs inside and the external one has about 2TBs of space left. I've ordered a 4 drive storage bay and a few more hard drives. Hopefully that'll last...

    Strange Pic/Push Alerts

I have this strange thing happening. If I cross a trip line in my yard, I'll get an alert along with a snapshot and I also have it set up to send a short video. For example, I walked into my front yard around 10'ish and set off an alert. I got a snapshot from yesterday of a little kid at my...

    Graphics Card and Deep Stack

That's what I understood from what I read. However, at the time I wasn't a actual participant of the forum and didn't pin it for later reading. And I'd much rather read the info than burden you guys with a ton of questions.

    Graphics Card and Deep Stack

I ran across a discussion on integrating a graphics card with Deep Stack AI but can't seem to find it now. One of the the things talked about was adding Deep Stack for GPU. Does anyone have information about that post? Thanks

Zero Tier remote access to Blue Iris

I didn't see your comment before posting, but I gave the same information. This is the video that helped me set up ZT1.

Zero Tier remote access to Blue Iris

I am not a network guru, but do use Zero Tier One. It was simple to set up and works just fine. It's what I use to access my cameras with the Blue Iris app. Check out this video from Cajoling Technologies on the subject.

New Guy Here and Thanks for Having Me

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the forum. Although this is my first post as a new member, I have been around in the background for a while now. I do more reading than posting and usually find the answers to my questions that way. I'm not a professional IT person or installer. I simply...
