    I think all the info is carried thru the poe cable. You just need to enable settings for audio in or out in the camera web gui.

    How are trying to backup your files? Did you login to the nvr web gui or are you trying to just plug into the usb on the nvr? I have only used the web gui to export files. The nvr's gui is very buggy compared to the nvr web gui. You may have to update the fw on nvr.

    I think your issue is the firmware in newer nvr's reject China region only cameras. Dahua implemented this so that it would be harder to sell China region only cameras in the us market.

    Sounds like the ip changed on you. I'd login to the camera web gui and look at the network settings. If you look on the cliff notes page of the wiki (at the forum here) it may help you further.

    Did you initialize them, when you first plugged them in? If not you may have to do as what is shown in the cliff notes. 1. Manually put in IP on a laptop of 192.168.1.20 then plug in the camera directly with lan wire. 2. Then surf to 192.168.1.108 on laptop browser using internet explorer...

    I'm not sure. It could have been a windows update. I read in the cliff notes the updates sometime wreak havoc on video drivers.

    Try to use internet explorer. It will need a plugin to view live feed. It should prompt you to download and install it. You may need a hard reset also. Hope you get it figured out.

    Broken set screw

    I broke off a set screw in a turret last night. Luckily it was not screwed in very far and I was able to get it out. Thanks to all the great info here on the cliff notes. I was able to find the correct size replacement screw.

    If you want auto tracking get the 592255. If you don't need auto tracking a SD49225T-HN Lite Series.

    Troubleshooting Help

    I would take down camera and bench test it with a premade cable and a wall wart 12v plug in. Possibly needs a hard reset(take apart and press button inside case).

    Check to see if smart codec is disabled. Ivs is disabled when smart codec is enabled.

    Buy from empire tech andy. He Is a forum member here. The camera you posted about has hacked China firmware and cannot be updated. Andy's cameras can all be updated.
