CPU running at 100% almost constantly

Right, except that those icons are gone too.

CPU running at 100% almost constantly

No, and I already did hit the ESC multiple times.

Where do I retrieve this information?

CPU running at 100% almost constantly

    I don't see it.

CPU running at 100% almost constantly

Ok, I started with replacing the video driver with an older one that's linked in Memory Leak: Quick Sync (Hardware Acceleration). Now, Blue Iris has lost the left-side panel that shows all the recordings, as well as the menu bar. What gives? Is there any way to get the side panel and the menu...

CPU running at 100% almost constantly

    Sorry, it's i5, not i3 i5-3470. I don't know what load means.

CPU running at 100% almost constantly

I bought a cheap off-lease PC with a third-generation i-3 processor. It's not the most powerful, but Choosing Hardware for Blue Iris page described it as "cheap but still good". But after adding a dozen cameras, the CPU is almost constantly running at 100%. I've read other threads, and this...

    "Away arm"/"Stay arm"-like motion-trigger setting?

I want BI to start motion-triggered recording of all cameras when I tell it I'm away. I also want BI to start motion-triggered recording of some cameras only when I go to sleep at night. Just like the "away-arming" and "stay-arming" my security system. Is this possible? I have a feeling that...

    Text Alert grayed out

I'm trying out Blue Iris after many on this forum recommended it over traditional NVR. I like it so far. Before buying license, I'm going through its features. One that stands out is its ability to send alerts through different channels. But the the "OK" button on the "Alerts" tab is grayed out...

Is there NVR that will work with any ONVIF camera?

Yes, I see the point. PC + BI sounds like a very good option, except that it's vulnerable to power outage. Someone suggested a UPS, but that's too much maintenance. I'm thinking of buying additional licenses for the Surveillance Station on my Synology, because that in the end may not be that...

Is there NVR that will work with any ONVIF camera?

You have a point. It's not that I'm afraid. I just don't like the idea of having to install the OS and so on. If push comes to a shove, maybe I'll have to.

Is there NVR that will work with any ONVIF camera?

Yeas, as the last resort, I'm looking into it too. I'm just not thrilled by the idea of having to keep a PC on 24/7, when I already have a NAS that I use for that purpose.

Is there NVR that will work with any ONVIF camera?

Yes, but in the long run, I may buy IP cameras from a different make.

    Is ONVIF universally compatible?

At the bottom of the Live Video page says rtsp:/192.168.1.14/live.sdp. Is the path "live.sdp" then? But where do I put this information in the NVR? My NVR isn't asking for the path. BTW, the Live Video page is blank, with "no signal" sign in the middle. What does this mean?

Is there NVR that will work with any ONVIF camera?

From my other thread, I learned that not all NVRs will work with all ONVIF cameras. Is there an NVR that is known to tolerate just about any type of ONVIF camera?

    Is ONVIF universally compatible?

On my NVR, I can edit the channel, IP address, RTSP Mode, Port, and the server type. But where can I find the "paths" of the camera? Does that mean the IP address? Also, the "Network settings" link leads to "The underlying connection was closed: The connection was lost unexpectedly". Does that...

    Is ONVIF universally compatible?

I downloaded the ONVIF Device Manager. It is able to list all of my cameras, along with a video feed. Does that mean that the cameras operate on "standard" ONVIF?

    Is ONVIF universally compatible?

I'm having trouble linking my Vivotek cameras to NVR. I tried a Evtevision, which couldn't get the signal from the cameras. I ordered a different brand, this time a Amcrest, but it can't get the feed from the cameras either. Is the ONVIF protocol supposed to be universally compatible regardless...

Why is my Amcrest NVR not getting signal from IP cameras?

This is driving me crazy. I have a 16ch Amcrest NVR. It recognizes my IP cameras and populates them in the available cameras list. But when I add them and put in the password, the NVR can't get the signal. The status symbol remains orange. I know the camera is working and the password is...
