    ive got 20 cameras, want to add 22nd but says full, thats where im confused a bit. theres around 10 not used on the POE ports all others are attached via switches around the building going back to main switch to NVR

    i have a hikvision NVR that has half of the channels POE ports, i cant seem to add any more cameras as it says i dont have room but half the POE ports are empty and i have cameras plugged into a POE switch. do the cameras have to be plugged into the NVR's poe ports in order to use these channels...

    got dahua nvr, whenever i use remote play back on a remote PC using IETab, i cant get more than 2x speed out of the playback with a single camera. any way to speed this up? bandwidth is not an issue either end, how to fix??

    while it is an OEM one, no logo, it starts as active in sadp. pressed reset and it reset, still starts as active. now its got an IP on my network subnet, i can get tot he page of login with browser but dont know password.

    i have a dahua nvr with a cordless mouse on it, the mouse is too sensitive, you move the mouse 1cm and it moves about 15cm on the screen making it way hard to do anything. i cant find any adjustments. any way to fix?

    same range as PC. heard back from hikvision support and they sent me a file to reset the password for that camera and now it works ok, even with web interface on pc now.

    thats just it, i cant even log into the web interface to try it. just page not found. with hiktools those passwords are rejected

    nope that didnt work. no password i have found online works, it wont default itself, powered down, held reset button and powered on keeping button pressed for just over 30 seconds, nothing, just keeps its same IP.

    this is the camera in questions. i will try powering up holding button down for over 30 sec soon.
