    I emailed him about it. He was very responsive. I don't think I sold him on this particular issue though. You can put the cameras and "new" folder structure in a subfolder but that doesn't help me for what I want to do. The large alert folder slows the system when viewing in windows explorer...

    I want to have all Alert images into subfolder by the camera name rather than one large directory. I have figured out how to do this for the "new" recordings folder by using the &CAM variable, but there doesn't seem to be an option to do this for the Alerts folder. Any ideas?
