Amcrest SmartHome Video Doorbell Camera AD110

Just installed mine over the weekend. It works fine in the Amcrest Smart Home App and Alexa through the skill but no dice in BlueIris. The IP shows up in the Amcrest IP Config App but I cannot connect to it. Going to the Doorbell's IP address directly does not present me with a login screen...

    BI & Echo Show?

I'll check that out but was wanting to set it up such that a triggered event such as motion will tell Alexa to notify then start playing the camera on the show. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    License Plate capture example....

In the morning, in the afternoon after the nearby school gets out and in the evening this intersection is very busy and there's cars going both ways on our street every few seconds to minutes. Second screen grab points across the yard the other way so it is busy that way too. I'm not sure how...

    License Plate capture example....

There's a relatively busy T intersection one house down across the street from me. I'm afraid the servos would be shot in no time if I mounted that! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Will I7-880 cut the mustard?

True but if you don't have any cash up front it'll get you by for a while. I figure that old i7 probably will cost you about $40 per month though so it isn't long before upgrading your system makes perfect sense.

    Will I7-880 cut the mustard?

Here's my CPU which is an i5 4690k Devils Canyon with 4 cams running, but I have them at a pretty high bit rate. As I add more cams, I'll drop that back a bit. Note that MicroSoft Security Essentials (MsMpEng.exe) is running but that's 25% of total CPU power so you need some overhead. ifgxEM.exe...

    Will I7-880 cut the mustard?

That said, you can probably get a pretty decent i5 gen 4 or even 5 refurb for not a whole lot of money.

I'm a Blue Iris and Emby User. I use the Security Camera Plugin in Emby. The advantage is being able to switch Emby to the Plugin Channel quickly if watching TV on Emby with merely the remote where as getting to the Blue Iris Console or finding my phone (I know it is sitting right next to me!)...

Thoughts on Amcrest ProHD 1080P WiFi Wireless IP Security Camera?

I bought these a day or two after posting and already had them installed and hooked into Blue Iris and the Vera Plugin as well over this past weekend before even seeing the responses here. They seem to be working quite well thus far and I have no complaints but I have a couple questions. First...

Thoughts on Amcrest ProHD 1080P WiFi Wireless IP Security Camera?

I know this is the Foscam sub forum but there isn't an Armcrest forum. I'm thinking of using a couple of these cameras over WiFi inside my house until I can get Ethernet to the locations they will be in. Any thoughts on integration into Blue Iris or suggestions of other cameras at the same...

Thoughts on this PC to run BI with 6 2mp ip cams?

That brings me back to the possible need for another PC. Looking at resource monitor I see that BI averages about 6.5% CPU and BI Tools yet another 1.5%, totaling 8%. Other operations running on this PC make up the rest and sometimes they are pretty high, spiking CPU clock ticks up into the 50%...

Thoughts on this PC to run BI with 6 2mp ip cams?

I have an i5 4650k haswell now with 16Gig RAM now. I have a lot of apps running so I see the CPU clock over 50% at times. I am on a licensed version and do have it set for HW Acceleration and Direct Stream. I wouldn't mind NOT buying a new PC right now BTW. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Thoughts on this PC to run BI with 6 2mp ip cams?

It usually costs more to build but you get to pick you components to suit your exact specifications. I read someplace here to go i7 but now your recommending an i5. Do you have a link @fenderman?

Thoughts on this PC to run BI with 6 2mp ip cams?

Seeing my CPU clock spiking up to 30% with my current devil's canyon i5 with only 2 cams right now and it goes higher if I run other background apps for my media center app, I am considering getting yet another PC in my arsenal but don't want to drop a whole lot of coin on it. I usually build...

High CPU load - on FAST system

I just bookmarked this page as it has some great information in it. I have one question about Windows 10 though. Does it support RDP and multiple concurrent sessions. There's a hack for that in Windows 7 (Professional and Ultimate only I believe). I'm thinking the Windows 10 Home version...
