    The best cameras out there!

Sorry for bumping old thread... @Dodutils Do you remember if digoo camera had pads or place to solder power connector? Edit: I would rather solder female barrel connector than reply or micro-usb. I know I can solder to micro-usb pads, but previous experience with soldering those is not great heh

New Windows 10 load cannot connect to UI3 anymore

Installed fresh copy of BlueIris about 5 days ago and UI3 worked great out of the box. Yesterday home blueiris system began having issues and I did a clean re-install. After reinstall at home I am getting the same error. At first I assumed it was because of reverse proxy, but connecting to BI...

    Picking camera for an apartment

Moved to apartments recently and have been concerned about car parked outside. Lucky for me two windows are facing the parking lot where our car is. It is three level building and we are on second floor. Lighting on parking lot is fairly decent which would probably have to be the only source of...

    Milestone XProtect Behind NGINX Proxy

I think it uses websocket and that must be made available through nginx as well. I set it up a year ago for testing and couldn't get it to work properly until websocket was also setup

Why does camera FPS in blueiris increases past camera's FPS?

Correct, it seems to auto adjusts only to higher value. Cameras is a mix of reolink, dahua, and hikvision; only two cameras are some non-branded chinese cameras. Sorry I don't have model list on hands right now. As for the extra memory usage, it does bother because with 13 cameras it adds up to...

Why does camera FPS in blueiris increases past camera's FPS?

I understand that changing FPS in blue iris does not change fps that is sent from camera. Camera I have is configured for 20FPS with 20FPS frame interval. I add this camera to blue iris and it works great. Frame rate on general tab is 20FPS, great, and frame rate in video tab that blue iris auto...

Why does camera FPS in blueiris increases past camera's FPS?

I have already set correct frame internet and matching frame rate on all cameras. Actually it does matter as it eats up RAM and which in turn makes system use SSD for as RAM. When this system was initially configured it ran great with 13 cameras and only 8GB of RAM. If I remember correctly...

Why does camera FPS in blueiris increases past camera's FPS?

I am completely out of ideas why camera FPS in blue iris increases 30-50% past FPS set in camera settings. This happens on a range of different cameras, whose settings are set to constant FPS, be it 15FPS on older cameras or 25FPS on newer ones. Key frame interval on each camera is set to...

How to handle DST changes on multiple cameras?

So you are also running a local NTP server on blue iris machine? That is what I am doing and time sync is fine, but DST changes are messed up and still dont sync up.

How to handle DST changes on multiple cameras?

Still easier to make a script with pain once and never think of it again. There are some hivision (i think) cameras that have such a slow interface that changing time on them is especially more pita.

How to handle DST changes on multiple cameras?

This is actually really good approach that takes care of DST completely. My cameras don't have access to internet either, but do use local ntp server running on nvr pc. Problem is 19 cameras are 4 different brands with different firmware, so doing it manually twice a year is pain, even with...

How to handle DST changes on multiple cameras?

I can't seem to find a solution for automatic DST changes on all of the cameras. Cameras are configured to use NTP server for time synchronization, but DST settings vary from camera to camera and need to be adjusted manually. What is a good solution to handle this?

One camera is not being shown in blue iris admin console

I think I found a small issue with windows that might make this issue more confusing. Yesterday I have had this this floating window happen again but on a machine running full up to date Windows 10. When it happened, blue iris console did have two windows/tabs in the task bar. When this floating...

One camera is not being shown in blue iris admin console

Okay, My bad. I was dealing with this for couple days and only now realized that feed for that camera was in separate floating video. Minimazing main admin console and moving it out of the way revealed floating video from missing camera. Right click, and then that floating video frame can be...

One camera is not being shown in blue iris admin console

After installing an update 4.5.9.3 (or the one before it) one of the cameras is not being shown in blue iris admin console. It does show up in web and mobile interfaces, and it even records video and events like it should. However, I does not show up in admin console. This happened right after...

Anyone tested HA on new Xeons with integrated GPU?

Great, thank you! I was hoping that blue iris doesn't limit hardware acceleration to certain CPUs only, and it looks like it doesnt :)

Anyone tested HA on new Xeons with integrated GPU?

So it was more of an issue with getting integrated cpu graphics to work while on-board graphics was also enabled?

Anyone tested HA on new Xeons with integrated GPU?

Did you use integrated graphics for hardware acceleration?

Does blue iris have hidden batch camera configuration?

I was not able to find this option anywhere, but sure would love it if someone points it out to me. Of-course if such feature exists. The reason I am asking for such feature is because I just had to reconfigure multiple settings on 20 cameras and it took a little over an hour, which could have...

Anyone tested HA on new Xeons with integrated GPU?

Every once in a while there is a deal on new or refurbished DELL servers with E3-1225 v5 that has integrated graphics and intel ark does list quick sync support as yes. Usually those go for $350-$450 depending on configuration, but I was offered multiple units for $220 each. 8GB of memory and...

    Rainbow Corruption

Recently changed power setting on the system running blue iris from balanced to performance and have not seen a rainbow effect for three days already. Maybe someone with rainbow effect can check their windows power settings and report back.

    Rainbow Corruption

Getting some rainbow corruption on recordings myself. Seems to be very random and happening only on hikvision 2132 and not on 2135. HD4600 driver is latest from intel 20.19.15.4501, released in august 2016. Chipset drivers are from intel as well. HA enabled. This seems to happen with Blue Iris...

How is it that BI is loading system just simply recording?

    1) Running full licensed version. 2) Yes, however blue iris admin interface is not open and no live webpages open. Unfortunately, in my case HD3000 was probably the issue. I realized that barerly used media pc was haswell system as well with i5-4590 (HD4600), so I quickly swapped...

How is it that BI is loading system just simply recording?

So it looks like HD3000 may not support h264 hardware acceleration. Found another thread where user with 2500k had high CPU usage, but after he upgraded it was low because HA was finally working. Sigh... Might have to put my haswell and use that sandybridge for my pc.

How is it that BI is loading system just simply recording?

You do make a valid point, without hardware acceleration it will take quite some power. However, how would that explain same setup with E3-1231 v3 (mentioned in OP)? It is using only 20-25%. I can kinda see how E3-1231v3 would be on the higher up end of performance compared to 2500k, but have...

How is it that BI is loading system just simply recording?

Just a sidenote, before it get's pointed out. BlueIris was installed and tested first. Then xprotect was installed and cofigured alongside blue iris. BlueIris doesn't seem to like HD3000. Enabling service and hardware acceleration drops connections to cameras. With service disabled but...

    Request for hikvision series/revision chart

There is this chart that lists revisions/series and cameras in that series/revision. I have came across it once, but can't seem to find it now. Tried searching "hikvision series list", "hikvision revision chart", and similar terms. If someone has it handy please share.

Any way to record a few seconds before the trigger?

It is still not clear if pre-trigger buffer does or does not increase resource usage with continuous recording, but I don't see a reason why it would. Just a matter of moving alert time back by the buffer amount. @Ryan00 are you using triggered or continuous recording?
