Duhua 4MP TiOC Network Eyeball Camera 2.8mm

I found this video that shows a someone wiring the output from a TIOC bullet cam to a siren, but that's about it. I'm wondering if it makes more sense to get a Z-wave stick and a z-wave triggered siren and have the siren triggered by BI.

Duhua 4MP TiOC Network Eyeball Camera 2.8mm

Thanks, wittaj. I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has any thoughts on a particular brand or model that works with this camera. Looking online it's tough to discern whether there are wiring inputs wires or power supply wires.

Duhua 4MP TiOC Network Eyeball Camera 2.8mm

Just wondering if anyone here has connected their TIOC (or another Dahua cam) to an exterior siren or a strobe light without going through an NVR? I wouldn't mind having another flashing light to complement the red and blue lights but an wondering if there's a way to connect directly to the camera.

Transferring BI HDDs and install to another computer

I'd like to transfer my BI install to a new PC. I have 2 8TB WD Purple HDDs with almost about 13 months worth of clips on both. I understand how to export BI settings to the new computer so as not having to redo setting up all the cameras (I run 22), but has anyone had success transferring their...

    Review - Dahua/EmpireTech Full-Color 5MP IR & White Light IP Smart PT "Active Deterrence" Camera - SD2A500-GN-A-PV

Just wondering if the "human detection" in this camera is under the Smart Motion Detection menu or the IVS menu, like in the 5442 series?

CenturyLink router not blocking port 8000. I ended up resolving my issue by using ZeroTier to create a secure connection. Even after putting the Orbi into AP mode I couldn't get it work until I set up ZeroTier.

Duhua 4MP TiOC Network Eyeball Camera 2.8mm

I have a couple of the 4mp TIOC 2.8 cams. For my application they work fine, even with the less than optimal sensor to mp ratio. Here's one of the cams in action.

    Inexpensive paint sprayer recommendations

I've painting some cams to match the color of my house and while I can prime them with spray primer, I need a sprayer to use the custom paint. Timingwise, I don't have time to send a paint sample to have someone make custom spray cans, but I'm looking for a cheap sprayer that can do the job...

    Reappearing DMSS push notifications

Anyone else's DMSS push notifications reappear today after inexplicably disappearing for the last 10 days? I have Dahua cams (bought from Andy) in two separate locations and experienced this and just curious if it was a Dahua server issue.

    Dual router blues

Really appreciate the response. The Orbi has an "AP' mode setting that I think would accomplish what you describe, though I'll need to wait until I'm physically on site to test it since I'm doing this remotely, which is why I'm hoping for a port forwarding type solution.

Yeah, that's the one. Not much info in there, though. Please let me know if/when you find success with your setup and how you did it!

    Dual router blues

In my area Quantum fiber is now servicing fiber for CenturyLink customers. They aren't charging anything for the CenturyLink modem/router, however, so I assumed the router had something to do with differentiating the legacy customers served by CenturyLink and the new Quantum customers, but that...

    Dual router blues

CenturyLink router is this one: Axon (Greenwave) C4000. It actually has a decent interface with lots of options, port forwarding and NAT disabling among them. My Orbi is RB750,which also has a lot of interface options.

    Dual router blues

The Orbi router was my primary router from which my Blue Iris server and all wifi devices were set up. It was great because the ethernet cable from the ONT went right to the Orbi. With the CenturyLink service change, the ONT must now connect to the CenturyLink router and the Orbi plugs into a...

    Dual router blues

The CenturyLink router has an option to disable the NAT in its configuration interface. I'm trying to do this remotely, through, and when I tried disabling that yesterday my system went offline and I had to have someone physically go to the computer and enable it again.

    Dual router blues

My new ISP (Quantum Fiber/CenturyLink) recently did a new install on my home and now, unlike prior CenturyLink fiber setups, the ONT now has to go through a CenturyLink router before getting to my Orbi router in order for me to get Internet access. There is no way around this as I've tested with...

Comment by 'Billyjack5' in media 'Double-NAT configuration for Blue Iris remote access'

Appreciate the response, bp2008. I'm still a bit stuck. The IP address of the Orbi router 192.168.1.1 and the "Internet Port"--also referred to as the "external IP address" in an Orbi configuration menu, is 192.168.0.4. In the CenturyLink router I've forwarded external port 8000 to...

Comment by 'Billyjack5' in media 'Double-NAT configuration for Blue Iris remote access'

I acknowledge in advance that there is a simple answer to this question, but here goes: Due to a new fiber service in my area, my primary router (an Orbi752) is now behind a second router, which is a newer CenturyLink router (no way around this dual setup). So I've got the dual router setup per...

    Dahua wireless series

Thanks, that's helpful. There's a 12v power source at the existing location and I'd like to run a powerline adapter with an injector but the cat5e will just be too aesthetically intrusive for this application, hence my desire to use the 12v cable as a power source which is very well hidden. The...

    Dahua wireless series

Does anyone have any hands-on experience with either of these Dahua wifi cameras? Wireless Series I'm well aware that wifi cams should be avoided if at all possible but for this particular application I don't believe any other option exists. I will be covering a smallish area (20x30 feet)...

    2022 Latest New Dual-Channel Camera

I assume I have the US firmware that came pre-installed when I bought it from Andy. The plate recognition is great, it's just the vehicle type and description that's lacking. There's a newer firmware version that Wildcat_1 is testing that I'm waiting to hear about. Unless what came pre-installed...

    2022 Latest New Dual-Channel Camera

Just watching the footage, the metadata vehicle description info appears much more accurate than my ITC237, but then again, I assume the footage was taken in Hong Kong where the algorithm was tested, hence the accuracy. My 2021-07-19 firmware pulls a lot of Tatamotors and Daihatsu vehicle...
