    How large a drive can I use in my NVR?

    How many drive bays/connectors does the NVR have? If one bay then the 6TB drive should be fine. Two bays might require more research into the actual model specs to determine if the "Storage up to 8 gigs (TBs)" is per drive or total for both drives.

    Are you sure they are water spots? You say the problem is only when IR is on, so you may be seeing IR reflections. Which type of cam do you have - dome, turret or bullet?

    Thanks TonyR, I had read that thread a few days ago and I'm glad to see an update. I'll clarify my comment- My impression is that one of the highly regarded mini wedge or small turret cams will provide a better image than most doorbell cams, for the same or less money.
