    If you hide the sensor in the drywall will you have the ability to replace a bad sensor down the road or deal with a damaged wire right at the sensor right where damage is likely to happen?

    When inserting a fish rod into the attic space from the outside the different stiffness rods make a big difference in how far you can work the arc of the rod. They also make a lighted tip for the fish rod that works great if you can go with a bigger hold to poke the rod through.

    Inside walls are not too bad to fish with a accessible crawlspace or basement and attic. Exterior walls are a whole different beast. No real ideas from your pic but you have to be able to visualize the framing of the house to be good as fishing wire.
