    I applied these same settings to all 3 of my cameras from the NVR however it stills seems sluggish. Only difference between you and me is that you have 704-480 (D1) and I don't. I have 704-576 (D1) Any ideas more ideas? I don't need to restart the NVR do I?

    My upload speed via Speedtest.net tested from my desktop wired directly to the router is at least 3 MBPS My router is Asus RT-AC1750 running OpenVPN.

    I'm talking lightning storms in the area. Is a dedicated surge protector with your NVR and a dedicated surge protector with your POE Switch enough? Now a direct hit to the camera is a different story, obviously. How do you guys protect your system?

    Yeah it went fine on my phone. After I had my phone set up I went back to my router and added a user for the iPad. Made a new export file and put that on my iPad and tried logging in. Hmmm
