I have this NVR and it does in fact have 16 poe ports. I am currently running 13 cameras and will max it out in a couple of months. Not a bad unit. I purchased it from Nellys Security.

I tried with and without the EOL resistor. No luck. I tested resistance as well with a meter and got no change when the alarm went off. I'm puzzled by this one.
