My issue is as in post that I do not have the option to record on event only. I have a DS-7616NI-I2/16P and a DS-7608NI-E2/8P both have the same problem. Both have latest firmware V3.4.92 build 170518.

Error 401 usually indicates a wrong Username or password.

hi thanks, where did you get ver 3.4.82 I did not see it on tech.hikvisionusa website. 3.4.5 is the last for this model.

On android there's an app called ivms-4500 HD. Try that it actually only works in landscape so you should be good to go.

I have a nvr 7616 that i need to set the recording to take place only on motion, im using a relay swich to change views of my monitor and don't want it to start recording when i select a cam. I only have the option to set it to either continuous or event, nothing else which will record on alarm...

You dont really need a Zwave relay, you can hook up the open collector. terminals on the 2 gig by setting it up to follow the internal sounder. On "Q78: Select Output (00‐12)" choose (11) Follows Internal Sounder Alarm. You would then connect the output collector to the alarm in of the camera...

I dont remember off hand but I think you have enable it in the settings of the camera.

Will these same commands work in the NVR or this is only direct to camera. I have the 7716 NVR PUT to http://ip:port/IO/outputs/1/trigger doesnt seem to work. Maybe I use the wrong port ? do i Use the Http port 80 or server port 8000??

Hi, I'm new to BI and so far so good. I have 1 issue so far, I would like to setup a remote client screen to have the screen split in 4 with limited certain cameras on it, I dont see any option in IE to do that, is there a view client for BI that can do that?? I know almost every CMS software...

it's at 18 percent which is good, but last night I check and memory was at 7gb which is 90% I rebooted the pc and all was good it was at 45%. But today I checked and it's again by 6.5gb which is like 85%. Is this normal?

You dont need this device, Im not sure about your NVR but the PIR can be connected to the Hikvision NVR 7716NI that I have, and it will trigger recording when the pir opens the circuit

Does anybody know if its possible to have an alarm I/O input direct to a PC? With the hikvision HW NVR I was able to hook up the connections from a doorbell to have the video out monitor pop up to that camera for a period of time when the bell is pressed. I understand I can hook it up straight...

But then I loose the option of having 2 monitors hooked up to this PC.
