We tried every media player he has in his system, which I think totaled four, no luck. I still think it has something to do with an internal coding that BI does during the convert process. Going to send him a video file I did with my phone camera, if it plays it has to be internal coding.

I tried the mp4, did not change. It seems there must be some type of restriction attribute placed on the file that if you are not on the original system that created the file, you can not view the video portion. Not sure.

I have a file that was converted to an avi file, but when I send it to my friend, it looks like it is playing however the video is not there. Tried several players, same problem. Is there an attribute in the properties that I need to change as it was created with security software (BI)?

Thank You, I've tried the SriCam option several times with the appropriate sub model and it always reverts automatically to the Generic ONVIF mode under port 5000. I have another SriCam earlier model which has been running fine for four years, no problems.

Sorry, I have the camera working with the cable attached and am trying to go through the Web Server set up and and cannot get the the page for final test on network and routing, to ensure external port is visible, still think the verified ip of xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is old and not correct.

my problem is that everything was working great until I installed a new DLink Wireless Router. Went through all of the set up but the Wan address is incorrect for the camera. Used IP Camera finder and in that program which located my camera and opened the web address, everything is fine there...

Found out what I wasn't doing right, thanks to your help file.

installed BITools, installation gave an Acess Violation with Comctl32.dll several times, chose the ignore option, finished installation but cannot get it to display on the camera. Did the Zip error installation, still cannot get to display on camera.

I could be wrong but I don't think the camera is Bluetooth, it is only Wireless as far as internet requirements.
