    How many cameras everyone running?

I have these at 3 different locations with another location that's outstanding to be tied back to BlueIris once Ubiquiti gets their sh!t in order and have their ER-X routers available again (for VPN). The one labelled "backstep" is long overdue for replacement, it's an Axis 211A from 2009.

B&H had those Ubiquiti Edge Routers for $60 so I'm going with those.

Multiple Remote Locations, Cameras and BlueIris

They're all POE and if I didn't already have a switch, those pre-owned Fortinets with the POE ports would have been a no-brainer. I think that I'll look for something more stable than the devices I listed above but I'm still going to look for something under $100. Thanks all.

Multiple Remote Locations, Cameras and BlueIris

I think that I'll have other uses for the Fortinet so don't mind getting one for myself. The little old ladies at each of those remote locations barely generate any Internet traffic so the pipe is mostly mine. The question really is if those GL.iNet devices are good enough...

Multiple Remote Locations, Cameras and BlueIris

I'm hoping it's good enough for the remote sites and I'll get something better for myself. Maybe one of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fortinet-FortiGate-FG-60D-POE-Firewall-With-Power-Supply/154189952549

Multiple Remote Locations, Cameras and BlueIris

I like Ubiquiti too but the people at the remote locations are price sensitive. It isn't carrier NAT. I think each site has a minimum of 10mbits up.

Multiple Remote Locations, Cameras and BlueIris

I have 3 remote locations with 1-3 cameras each and a BI server at a 4th location. None of the remote locations have a decent router. Would I be able to use a couple of these cheap travel routers to setup Site-to-Site VPNs to my remote locations for the purpose of recording? What kind of...

    Dead?

Tried ConfigTool from another pc and found it instantly. Turned out that it was on one of those 10.1.1.x IPs that it gets set to when plugged into a Dahua NVR. I vaguely remember doing that before deciding that I didn't like Dahua NVRs and will stick to using BlueIris. Thanks for your help.

    How do I filter broadcasts? I tried: ip.dst == 255.255.255.255 also: eth.dst[0] & 1

    Dead?

Looks like one of them did go back to the default IP and for some reason, even though I could ping it and telnet to port 80, I couldn't connect to it in a browser. After restarting the browser a few times and trying different browsers, it worked and it also shows up in configtool now. The other...

    Dead?

I have 2 Dahuas that I pulled down and stored safely in a box about a year ago. Now that I'm trying to use them again, they don't seem to be coming back on. I plugged them into a PoE switch by themselves and tried to reach them via the IP that I had originally set them to but they didn't respond...

Dahua NVR4104-P-4KS2 and IPC-HFW2231T-ZS (Resources are not sufficient. Failed to enable the video)

It's possible but the switch on the NVR was set to hand out 10.1.1.x addresses and I believe that I changed the NVR to 192.168.1.110 beforehand. I'm just glad it works now. This forum is awesome.

Dahua NVR4104-P-4KS2 and IPC-HFW2231T-ZS (Resources are not sufficient. Failed to enable the video)

When I got the camera that wasn't working to work, the one that was working stopped working. So I ended up resetting the NVR and the 2 cameras and that seemed to fix it.

Dahua NVR4104-P-4KS2 and IPC-HFW2231T-ZS (Resources are not sufficient. Failed to enable the video)

There may have been multiple connections at the time, one from a browser and the other from Easy Viewer.

Dahua NVR4104-P-4KS2 and IPC-HFW2231T-ZS (Resources are not sufficient. Failed to enable the video)

Thanks. I just tried resetting the camera to factory default, however it's behaving the same. I'll try resetting the NVR next.

I've been trying to add a Dahua IPC-HFW2231T-ZS to a Dahua NVR4104-P-4KS2 and am able to add the camera to a channel etc but when I try to view it I get the following error: Any ideas about what I may be doing wrong? I was able to get it the camera to work with BlueIris and I was able to add...

Axis 207W not responsive to IR illumination

This Axis 207A was my first IP Cam and it still works too. Granted, it's useless for seeing a face but it's alright for recognizing motion. Funny enough, a workman bounced it today and I had to get him to reposition it. I have it looking at a door on a step, something it's not very good at. I'll...
