No not doing anything with any business network. I was trying to use my account from my cable provider because they are broadcasting WiFi in that area.

So I wanted to setup BI on an extra machine to monitor my storage locker. So If I can connect the machine to my internet provider WiFi how can I get to BI? I dont have any access to their router so I can’t configure their router obviously. So do I have to get a service like NoIP?

That did it! I selected both networks, right click on them, select bridge, BAM can see camera in garage.

I picked a used DS-2CD2332-I up today. Can you get the PWD from it? This cam has no reset button and none on the pigtail either. OK. I got the Config file from it. Not sure what Vs firmware is. Maybe I missed in SADP. Attached the config... Had to change the extension to CSV.

When connecting remotely to my cameras, on all the web browsers I use it says not secure at the beginning of the URL. Is there a way to secure this? Searching I didn't find much, maybe it was my terms I used.

Yeah it's one of the newer ones with no e-port at all. Someone earlier said they newer ones won't work at all. Oh well. I was more interested in why the web brower wouldn't connect.

Hey Fenderman, I know old post. So i Have one of these cameras, I know the IP but it will not connect via my web browser so I know BI can't see it.. Tried ever port I could think of. Works fine on their app they have. THoughts?

I did the update on Saturday since I need to install windows updates. Now when I view from my iPhone, the images are squished together bad. It's like SW is doing fit to screen for all the images. If I go to a single camera and flip the phone to landscape it doesn't really help, still squished...

Wow, what PITA! That did it. I tested with laptop only for internet access via my laptop plugged into the cable modem and made changes. Cable modem rebooted and I think it kept the laptop IP held and not released as plugging in the Linksys provided no internet access at all. Rebooted Cable...
