@oh6hfx I agree with @wittaj , cam AI these days are intended for people/vehicle detection. As you have seen for yourself, birds will not consistently trigger IVS rules. You probably need to go with plain motion on cam or BI5 and then send to CP.AI for bird detection. Take some snapshots...

@bluetentacle Your cam AI config in first screenshot looks ok. My guess is that CP.AI is not working. Use CP.AI Explorer UI to manually test LPR with an uploaded image as a sanity check. Please also share the BI5 AI screen---I assume you have "ALPR for plates" enabled. I am on BI v5.8.9.4...

Agree, use UI3. If TV has touch support, then touch would provide an intuitive way to select single/group view, select alert playback, PTZ control, etc... I have various laptop/tablets strategically placed around the house using UI3 and touch for family to access.

@curtis-r I do not know if your PC has old-generation CPU, is the CPU pegged at near 100% during AI confirm? If it's not slow PC hardware, you may want to send an email to BI support to ask what else might cause the delay between AI confirm and MQTT.
