:-) Flashing the wrong firmware is my problem not the camera:-) One had an electrical issue and the other one I dont remember:-) But you are right, they are garbage with a lot of minor problems. But there is no alternative for this price.

5 V1 over two years without major problems. SD card problems and overwritin g problems:yes. But over all still working. ( Two needed a replacement of the mainboard. Then ok) 1 V1 dead after a week.( Now spare part) 4 V2 more than one year and still working without trouble. But I dont know yet...

Also I found out that my rebooting camera, that rebooted last Friday the whole afternoon had fried my MicroSD card. I think waiting for new firmware is probably going to take forever. I think we do better to have a detailed guide, if we know what services (data) are responsible for the reboots...

no, they are indoor cameras. But I put two cameras under the roof outside and they are working fine. One -w and one normal. The -w does not support PoE! Great Cameras Rainer

Thanks, I got it. But you need a Notebook. Change the TCP/IP and make it the Gateway for the Dahua and than you can change the IP to the normal netIP and use it. WiFi will be tested tomorrow. One thing: the xxxT-GN has POE the -W not!!
