Looks like 5.4.4 fixed the issues I had with the email notifications. I can now do both intrusion detection and line crossing events with email TLS. Solved.

Ok couple of questions: When in the ivms-4200 software under the device management tab, click on server in the upper left, does the camera show up under the "online device" at the bottom of that screen? Are you using dhcp for the ip address or static?

Ok I downloaded firmware 5.4.4 from the Europe site and it looks like it has partially fixed some of the problem. I am reliably getting line crossing events now. Haven't tested the Intrusion detection in depth enough to see if it is functioning properly. Good luck out there.

Are you using to wifi for a live image to a NVR? I have a setup using wifi at a distant building but I have the cameras wired to a switch and a wireless bridge back to the house. I am also doing edge recording with these two cameras. Would this be something you could do?
