Removing the Date Range fixes the issue but it makes load times long becuase you are loading the entire database. It looks like the MaxDate has a bad value. This is what I did that fixes the issue. Just add a line to set the MaxDate. Now it loads quick with just 1 day of data populated...

you have to setup a "Rule" that triggers the recording. There isn't an easy button to click to make it work.

Get a wire toning kit, tie a string to the toner and lower it to the bottom. Then go hunt for it with the tone probe in the basement.

You should have the camera's set to variable bit rate with a max of 8K. Most of the time they will only be streaming at about half of that. I think on the live view page of the Dahua's they display the current bit rate. Most likely you would come in under the max bit rate of 384Mbps in this...

You should be able to plug the Pi into a Poe port of the NVR, if there is a spare. Once it's running on the NVR's camera side network it wouldn't have any problem talking directly to the camera. It's not an ideal solution by any means, but technically possible.
