This is harder than it should be

I did enter the password (still the default "admin") if I click the eyeball icon, the password does show (in BI) I did disable "P2P switching" but no change. I also searched the owners manual for how to enable onvif, but ony got 1 result, and since RSTP is enabled, I think I am good there..

This is harder than it should be

I realized I had a 2nd camera exactly as the other (they have been in a closet shelf for 2 years) Anyway, swapped them out, and the 2nd doesn't work either. Which suggests there is not a cam HW problem, but a configuration error. How can we troubleshoot the "RSTP: 400 Bad Request" error from BI?

This is harder than it should be

Thanks fenderman! I have already done #1 and #2 many times with no luck. Don't see an option to disable p2p, but no interest in opening up network holes; Id rather buy another camera.

I have tried .264 and .265 in camera settings, neither seems to work See screen shot for streaming settings. I do not see "smart codec" anywhere Added port 80 to IP with no luck

I am focusing on 1 of the cameras at a time now. This one is from Nellys, its a Raysharp. I know the credentials are right because I can see a live preview by logging into camera webserver. BI isn't able to access the stream for some reason. I have attached the manual for the camera too...

    Hikvision doorbell camera - DS-KB6003-WIP

The parameter error may be a browser compatibility thing. Chrome and FF have this problem, but IE with Web Components seems to fix the problem.

BI Resolution doesn't match hik ipcam Configuratio

OK, so I do not know what I have to done to correct the problem, but it seems to be working ok now. I matched I frame interval with the Frame Rate 20, but other than that - I left the BI screen to browse with chrome; switched windows back and the image is in full resolution matching the live...

BI Resolution doesn't match hik ipcam Configuratio

I just realized for some time my hik 4MP- DS-2cd2342wd-i camera (bought from Nelly's) has been recording @ 1920X1080.. I changed the resolution in the camera to 2688x1520. The image becomes considerably better instantly in the camera's Live View, but BI still shows 1920x1080, and what's worse -...

Why is this video so bad?

As I would expect, your advice worked to cleann up the picture: will need to monitor CPU to see f that is reason for skipping.

Why is this video so bad?

You are so much the man... The frame rate was set to 30fps, but iframe set to 50. Changed both to 30. Receive buffer was set to 3.0, updated to 20. Will test again

Why is this video so bad?

HI Everone - I have a 4MP Turret ipcam from Hikvision, and using Blue Iris on an i5-2400 3.1 GHz w/16 MB RAM. 2 problems with the below video. Exposure 1/30 - 100% gain, 1st problem is the motion blur/ghosting- its awful, and this is with pretty good light. Problem 2 is the video (like all...

    BI Cannot Find Camera

I just reset the camera to factory defaults, and its still not working.. All I get is a black scree in BI that says Cam1: No Signal. So frustrating, I am sure it is something silly and small.. Even though I have double checked the ip and password 10X, "if" one of these is wrong, would it...
