Can dahua chinese locked/hacked cameras be upgraded with newest chinese firmware? I know you can't upgrade them with an international/english firmware as it will end up into a brick.

I have 3 generic "no brand" IP 720p cameras + 4 old kguard analogue VGA cameras. I am searching for a budget NVR (if possible hybrid to be able to still use my old analogue) for 24/7 recording. No motion detection required but just a reliable budget NVR with a good UI for fast video playback.

Sometimes (quite often actually), I can't view recorded clips in the mobile android app. It does not play; empty blueiris app screen. I think that happens if BI is still recording (i.e. motion detection still occurring) Is it normal?

Hi, I have ordered a 720p IP camera with 2.8mm on aliexpress but I received the 720p camera with 3.6mm instead. I contacted the seller and he replied me by saying FOV on 2.8mm is the same as 3.6mm on 720p camera. Is this true or he is lying to me??

My hidden cameras show up in the "All cameras (index)" section of the android app. I have disabled webcast on these hidden cameras but they still show up in "All cameras (index)"

Since last update, alerts clips keep getting cleared on blue iris.. I can't find old alerts.. it only shows last 2-3 clips.. it's annoying... same thing with the mobile app.. it shows only last clip or most of the time alerts list is just empty .. any idea what's wrong??
