I was comparing the model I mentioned above with DAHUA. and did see a F-Stop difference (in favor of dahua) on the newer model. tempting to look into that camera, but I have to wait and see if the SD1A203T-GN makes more sense ...

so I updated this AM, camera did not get a signal (cameras already on h.265). So , I turned off hardware acceleration for h.264 restarted Blue Iris, and it worked (thanks fenderman). What I am not sure about is, I turned back on the h.264 acceleration then restarted BI and my cameras still work...

well, so much for thinking I their would be DC power froom those camera wires. Sounds like either I need to 1) Run a POE splitter (20 feet) off camera via rj45 and then out to 2 pir's. Then the Pir's no\nc back to camera 2) Run long cable poe (50 feet) (rj45) wire to the 2 pirs and then the PIR...

I was trying to cascade the routers.I wanted the first router to be the general wifi and guest wifi. And the 2nd router to handle the VPN serve (including LAN AND WIRELESS ) for the cameras and pass through the 1st router... I would assume it would be similar to a subnet approach....

well, I have been trying to read on openvpn Merlin (server), dedicated VPN Server routers, VPN for noobs, even called Asus (heck I got 3 different answers: can't be done, not supported, and can be done but not supported by their help desk) I am either overcomplicating this, Have the right idea...

Not sure , that’s the reading from one fan, in the v7...the other was turned off(unplugged).. Perhaps the air holes are noisier ?

Taking my mind off things since I have a cold, so just took a few minutes to document a fan update...Noise went from 67-68 dB to about 54 dB... I did not check CFM so I am not sure if it was impacted or improved, But I did take the temperature and it went down a little under load about 4 degrees...
