    So I bought a UART and zipped it because the link provided a pic how to connect the UART to the NVR. I didn’t know what pin was ground and what is Tx/Rx. Also what UART should I buy next? Does the UART chip matter?

    What was done to brick it? - Firmware upgrade years ago. Does it have the '15 beep bootloop'? - Yes Does it show in SADP? -?? Thanks for your link I will now begin getting a usb to TTL converter.
