It has been happening on every BI version (always on the latest and greatest cutting edge version) for the last 3-4 months at least. Windows updates are up to date, iOS is up to date. I 100% understand this is NOT a Blue Iris software issue, BUT I would REALLY appreciate any tips or tricks to hunt down the TRUE root cause. Pretty sure it is a network issue as it only happens every now and then, on random camera alerts, no specific time etc. BUT how do I prove it to my ISP...- kc8tmv

Troubleshooting Push Notifications
I get the "Push: failed ffffffff to iPhone13; check security exemptions and service Login" every now and then. I get 95% of my iPhone notifications, but occasionally, I get this error. Not just one camera, but various ones. Ken suggested checking "security exemptions", but sadly I am not 100%... -

BI App connects only when I’m on my home WiFi.
Brilliant (and totally forgotten) point! It has been so long ago I forgot there are router settings for port forwarding on mine! I think the webserver / remote wizard will even take care of this. I will have to check this later today. Thanks for everyone’s responses and jogging my memory...- kc8tmv

BI App connects only when I’m on my home WiFi.

WAN IP could have changed. This is actually an install at my son’s house. I have both his (new) and my system (many years) on my app. Mine has never had an issue connecting from anywhere . But connecting to his only works when I’m on his WiFi. Shouldn’t the app look up the IP address using...- kc8tmv

When on cellular it won’t connect. When on any non-home WiFi it won’t connect. But when I’m connected to my home WiFi it connects right away. I’m sure it’s something simple, but I just don’t know what. Any help is appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- kc8tmv

Sync with profile 1
a BIT off exact topic, but I "thought" there was a way to copy a profile to a different profile. I have profile 2 setup the way I want it 99.9% of the time on all cameras. Can I copy profile 2 to profile n (any other) ? Seems like this could be quite useful.- kc8tmv

Does anyone know how to have Alexa “see” my BI cameras so that Alexa (Echo Show) can be told to “show driveway camera”. As much an Alexa question as it is a BI question, but thought I would ask here as i am trying to connect to a BI camera. thanks!- kc8tmv

NDB31-W Doorbell Camera - Audio setup in Blue Iris?

BINGO! Removing Deepstack and reinstalling it WAS the answer. I love Blue Iris and love Deepstack, but I almost feel like mom and dad are getting a divorce and I'm being left behind! :) Not sure codeproject will ever live up to Deepstack. Don't think they even have a GPU version do they... -

Updated from 5.6.5.9 to 5.6.8.1. Thought everything was running ok until I noticed a lot of missing notifications. Went and looked and it was the AI Timeout error that was happening. So I rebooted just to be sure any random Gremlins were flushed out and got the same issue. Reverted back to...
