did you made any other settings? From my computer I can use the mic and it’s coming out the camera, from the iOS app nothing comes out not even the hail sound when I push the mic button in the iOS app

Tested with mic on computer, that works. But I need to get it work with the iOS app :-(

Did you try it from computer or iOS App ? I didn't try from computer yet, BI iOS app when I push the mic button and release I see for a split second that the phone reports the mic is being used by the BI app but nothing comes out. Maybe its an issue with the iOS app. Will try from computer now.

hmmmmm, before I used Dahua under make. Of course was not working, changed it to what you set and nothing. I hit the mic button in the App, it’s green but the doorbell doesn’t output anything.

Having the same problem now after installing version 5. Strange thing is it only comes with one camera. All other cams I can view the alert clip. Did you solved it and how?

The same you set when you setup the doorbell using the app.

It will help me to eventually change the annoying 10 times chime (if that’s not hard coded in the FW) and it eventually will be useful for the BI team.

With BI I had no issues. As mentioned, if 2way audio is working I don’t even need a chime or the buggy ap since I get motion notification from BI and could use BI to interact with who ever is bothering :) but I agree the chime thing with 10 times ringing is ridiculous. They really should add an...

Looks completely different to the iOS app. Do they have screenshots in the manual for android? And did you check on their website it you can do changes to the camera settings?

What problems you experienced? I mean beside the crappy app, which I don’t really use. With BI all is good. I just wish we can figure out the 2 way audio via BI then I’m going to retired the stupid app.

Then maybe their cloud service is down? I tried to find an API for the DB11 but no luck otherwise you could use curl and send key/value for the chime settings.

Start over again. Reset the DB11 with the reset button, delete the app (not sure if all config files automatically are delete on Android). Then install and don’t do anything with BI until you have the app running.

You can see in one earlier post from me. But unfortunately yes you do have to have the app to activate it. It’s off by default (who ever did that was not thinking). In the app you have to choose 3rd party chime (and then at the bottom there is an option to enable mechanical/digital chime).

And by the way, you want to change the chime or activate it ?? If changing the type of chime, forget it lol, there are 3 options in the app and all kinda do the same and ring 10times. That’s something they have to fix. It’s kinda annoying.

I didn’t find a solution on accessing the config for ports etc. Dahua closed my ticket after 5 days w\o answering..... I build a “wedge” using a angle aluminum (just bend to the degree you need), that had 2 benefits; have space for the cable and the perfect angle for the cam. See below...
