That was a temporary test and I didn't use any special characters, but the current password does have a few special characters, as did the previuos password I was using before the test.

Just for kicks I created a new local admin account. Unchecked the "Run as a Windows service" box in BI, restarted, Checked the box again and entered the new credentials which were accepted without a problem.

I've used the same Admin username and password for both BI user and local user account without a problem. But if you're looking to keep the password as BLANK, the Help files describe an override when you can't login.

I've seen this. If you've changed your Microsoft account password after the PC was already set up, you need to use the old password not the new one.

Maybe you'd want to check the "Minimum time since actions" option and make sure the seconds are not too high or just uncheck the box.

Well, this may be a little premature but after updating to 5.5.5.9 and waiting for the first full cycle to end (24hrs - midnight-to-midnight), it appears the issue has been fixed.

This happens on every version 5.5.4.x and up. I record 24/7 so it only happens at midnight for me. The latest version that doesn't have this issue is 5.5.3.7. I sent support an email almost 3 weeks ago but never got a reply.

On every camera that belongs to the Group, go to Camera settings - Select, and make sure the Group is not highlighted. Once you do this to the last camera in that group, the Group will disappear.

Just to make sure that nothing is recording, maybe try to set a couple cameras to continuous record, then open Task Manager - Performance tab to see if anything is being written to the Disk D at all.

It looks like you enabled "Override global schedule..." in Camera settings.

It doesn't matter but it's nice to have a general idea where your CPU usage is at any given time. I'm sure nobody keeps their Task manager open all the time, so a quick glance at the BI CPU reading should be enough to know whether there may be issue or not. And the best way to keep it reliable...
