Blue Iris and YouTube Live Event

Hi all, Has anybody been able to setup a YouTube Live Event using the Blue Iris software and the "Webcast" tab? Seems like it should be possible as both YouTube and Blue Iris support FMLE (Flash Media Live Event) https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2907883?hl=en-GB But I just can't get...

    alternatives to BI for webcasting

Thank you for those suggestions! I shall give them a try and let you know :-) on a side note, would you know why BI doesn't let me choose Windows Media Video 9 in the video codec for the webcast? The camstreams software uses it so id love to give it a try to see if it fixes the problem...

    alternatives to BI for webcasting

I've had a go with VideoLAN stream but got a bit confused. Ideally I do want to use Windows Media Video 9 codec for the video and windows media audio 9.2 for the audio. I can't see those options for codecs in the VideoLAN profile options. Camstreams themselves have an encoder which works...

    alternatives to BI for webcasting

Camstreams "pull" a HTTP stream I think on a port you specify. It's not a push platform. So it only consumes bandwidth when somebody actually tunes in. I am wanting to webcast my RTSP IP camera at the URL LambWatch Channel 2 - a Webcam in Earby, Lancashire, UK, Streaming on Camstreams BI only...

    alternatives to BI for webcasting

I am really only using Blue Iris for it's HTTP webcasting functionality (Windows Media) but am really struggling to get a reliable and stable webcast (it lasts for only about 5 to 10 minutes before freezing). I want to stream my IP cameras via Webcams Streaming Live & Free on Camstreams and...

Does anyone know how to select, and keep, the Windows Media Video 9 codec on the Windows Media webcast settings in blue iris? You access these settings when you click "Profile" under the Webcast tab for a camera's settings. Every time I change it to Windows Media Video 9 and save it, and then...

Webcasting with Blue Iris and Hikvision DS-2CD2532F-IS - Audio / Video issues

Thanks for your reply fenderman! I thought it maybe something to do with that. The reason I am using the webcast is so I can stream my cams over the internet using 'camstreams' (Webcams Streaming Live & Free on Camstreams) and they require the webcast to pull the stream into their system...

    Strange messages in Logs

While webcasting using Windows Media, I am getting strange errors in my logs which is causing BI to crash on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. Attached is the logs... Its the FORCE quitting wmthread thread and Audio timeout: network reset ones that concern me.

Hi all, I am wanting to setup a Windows Media webcast using Blue Iris with my IP hikvision DS-2CD2532F-IS. Everything seems to be working fine on a "Video only" webcast setting, however, when I do "Audio and Video" webcast under the Windows Media settings, it works for a short while (from...
