    CodeProject AI insane lag

Alright making those changes down to 4 images and dropping all but the Ipcam general list I'm down to about 400ms! I'm getting a lot more Nothing Found drops, but I'll try one of the other lists and see how they work out. Still using main stream images. Any thoughts on the Apply to motion...

    CodeProject AI insane lag

Thank you for that info! I'll drop the images analyzed and edit the models being used. I believe I've been using combined, dark, and animal. In many cases it seemed like the default list was doing better, but I know it takes a lot of tweaking. I'll report back!

    CodeProject AI insane lag

Good to know... I do see a GPU % flash up during triggers, that must just be the build in one I assume? Perhaps I'll need to look into a separate card. Lots of learning on my end -

    CodeProject AI insane lag

Hello, I just got CodeProject AI setup and am experiencing significant delays in processing the images. I'm talking like 1500+ ms. This seems to be way beyond what others are experiencing - any advice on things to check? CPU jumps sometimes to 100% while processing images too. I7-4770...

NTP Sync Fails - some cameras only

Hello, I have a variety of Dahua (Empire Tech) cameras to include the 2MP Starlight, 4MP (5442 series), 5831 8MP, and 4231 2MP boobies. All of them sync with my Synology NAS for NTP except one of the 5442s and both boobie cams. Both 5442s are running the same 12-03-2020 software build...

I cleaned the lenses and it certainly improved the images. The lights are the biggest issue though. I appreciate everyone's input!

    Setting Advice

Hello, We recently installed some new exterior lights and they've more or less destroyed my driveway camera's night vision ability. One is an older Dahua 8MP 5830 RZ (I know, not the choice for night to begin with) and the other is a 2MP Starlight 4231. I have 2 screen shots from the 8mp...

    BI Dell Optiplex freezing

Okay, I was seeing processor Temps over 80*C, so I replaced the thermal paste and now they average about 30* cooler. I also have the graphics driver downloaded, the one recommended in the wiki, however I've not been able to install it yet, Windows keeps blocking me saying the currently...

    BI Dell Optiplex freezing

I will check on the things you guys have posted so far. Hard drives are the factory SSD for data and a WD Purple for BI recordings. Data is not being rewritten.

    BI Dell Optiplex freezing

Hello, I picked up an Amazon refurbished Optiplex i7, 16gb ram machine to solely run BI with 7 cameras (2 boobie cams, 9 feeds). I'm running around 6% CPU and less than 20% ram with the server running as a service. Computer is firewalled off from any internet access. I've run into an issue...

    WTS Dahua Branded IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M

For sale is a used, Dahua branded starlight dual head cam. One channel/camera appears to be completely dead. One channel died on me and I've been unable to get it back. The other channel works just fine, however the outer lens has a small scuff on it. This could be used as a single...

I just pulled mine down, crimped on a new connector, greased it, and weather sealed it and still no joy on the second camera feed. What's interesting is it's still pulling 5+ watts from the switch. Just isn't sending video out.

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M Dual Starlight Cam

Both of mine are mounted under aluminum soffit using aluminum bar stock strips for support. I would imagine the aluminum would carry heat away just as well as anything. I just tried a new POE port and have the same result. Image from one cam and nothing from the other. She might be dead...
