Like Loony said, check the firmware to the other cameras (that are the same model number) see if there is a difference. What is the make and model number on the one your having problems with? Can you give us a screen shot of the setup menus?

Please, don't remind me. Bloatware sucks. When I remember I will make an system image after I strip it of all BW and have it just as I want so when I have to do a refresh its clean from the start.

If he is running on-board video through his processor he could update the driver correct? I know it can help with some issues, I just did a BIOS update as well as updating all the drivers that were due.

There are many here smarter than I, but I would guess this maybe part of your problem. I would look into how to set your cameras up using only the main stream and than go from there IMHO. EDIT: What options do you have in setup on your cameras?

Why are you running a sub stream? If you don't need it turn it off and your watermark and bump up your bit rate to ~8192. You might try and lower your I-Frame a little, I run mine at 12. Now keep in mind all cams are different.

Just wanted to chime in here, the Linksys CM3008 modem is a nice little modem and the Nighthawk X6 R8000 a fantastic wireless router. With that said, I would not recommend running your cameras (more then 1-2) though a modem or a wireless router, a switch would be the preferred device (3 or more)...

Ok, so I check my system this morning and the clip window doesn't show any clips from today. But they show up in the time line, I shut down and restart the app and they now show up. FYI, BI is running as a service. Question: what gives, why is it doing this?

Its hard to help you or make recommendations if I don't know what you have. I've gone though this many times as well, its normally a setting I missed.

I'm still trying to learn my way around, but I was able to improve my motion blur issues by tweaking the Max. Bitrate (Kbps) and Frame Rate on each camera. Make sure the cameras setting and the the settings in BI are the same.

I reconfigured BI with all clip folders on the same drive as BI i.e. D:BI\db and so on All recording are showing up in the "Alerts" tab and only "New" recording are showing up in "New" tab. If I choose "ALL" tab I only get new recordings. Not sure if this is right or need to change a setting...
