G4 Doorbell Pro. Anyone gonna test it?

As I have a UDM Pro already it has the NVR built in. I have the non pro version and some other cameras I expose over rtsp to my surveilance systems with no issues. Wish it could be in standalone, but it works well since I have the NVR there anyways. Btw they usually have three streams of...

Smearing / skipped frames on main stream only

Oh sorry, you said Next get rid of CBR so I assumed VBR, but I changed them to CBR now. (only two options). It helped a BIT on the smearing (the artefacts), but still I see it skips seconds on the main stream. Since this is happening in the UI of the camera I assume we can rule out the cables...

    Dahua randomly changing settings automatically

This is on IPC-HDW5231R-Z with V2.800.0000016.0.R - From what I remember that was the firmware they should run? Is it a firmware that is known to be better?

    Dahua randomly changing settings automatically

Have anyone experienced things like sub streams reset, night mode color changes with no interaction? I have started to experience syubstrean 1 reset to 264h and substream 2 turns off. The consumer is using the streams over ffmpeg so no onvif

    Fog inside Dahua SD1A203T-GN

I installed yesterday a SD1A203T-GN that I should use in a terrarium - with its IP grade that should be no issue, but after being running for 5-6 hours this happened. The camera is in a temperature of around 30c and no water or moist close to it. Any solutions to this. I never openened it or put...

you are right, probably won’t blow up at least. I see it’s a friedeland 117 and see people use it for nest hello, though max 16v by connecting the 8 and 24v on the transformator. good to test as it’s the most common doorbell in Norway so a as good reference for others

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

One thing I have not thought about, and that is the "ding-dong"-part of it. I have an old one, probably made for 8 or 12v. What is the worst thing that can happen if I feed it 16 or 24 volts? Or do I need to buy a new one of those too?

Its very, very, very strict playing with 220V here, where its no insurance coverage if even trying to touch it. But the main issue test is I guess its easy to get it working in general, but taking into account wire length and long term stream is harder to predict. The reason why Im asking is I...

Yes, sadly I do have a chime. I se realize I might just have to bite the bullet and install a new transformer as I guess using this could bring issues with video and wifi drop. I have now moved, and cause of changing the transformator cost 4-500USD in electrician cost (not legal to do it yourself here) I just took a picture of the old one to see if anyone tried this transformator as I can see the 12V option gives 1A that seem to me to be quite high? As the DB1 is...

Yeah, they are expensive, so I guess mine, "new" in a box will pay off this doorbell change easily. Actually it was the WAF that requested to dismount the doorbell. I bought it cause of it said on their webpage it had 720HD and I thought ok, thats good enough for a doorbell, and it got native onvif, SIP, POE, twoway, local API and everything we can dream of, except the camera can only stream in 480P. Also when I looked at the webpage it didnt look that big...

Its mostly local selling here, but guess I can most for the doorbird. Think they still sell for like 500 bucks. its the apple of doorbells, but with just a 480p vga camera. If it had HD it would be ultimate. Onvif, local API, SIP etc
